Harness Breeders NSW Inc is a body formed to promote, encourage and support NSW Breeders of Standardbred horses and through its' Executive Committee, to represent NSW Breeders in all matters connected with breeding.
A representative of this Association is a member of the Harness Racing NSW Advisory Board, which was formed to assist the NSW Harness Racing Authority in preparing, evaluating and reviewing policy matters affecting Harness Racing in NSW and Australia.
A representative of this Association is also a member of the Australian Standardbred Breeders Association (ASBA). ASBA is an essential industry voice that projects standardbred breeders' collective national viewpoints to Government, semi-government, instrumentalities, State and Federal Harness Racing Organisations.
This Association played a pivotal role in the introduction of the $3000 Breeders Challenge Nominators Bonus for two, three & four year old horses. Additionally, the automatic drop back clause for racing mares and are proud to be associated with the very reputable studs that support our members by way of a discounted stallions service scheme. We urge all our members to support the Studs that have gone out of their way to support breeding in NSW.
